A small species of frog reaching up to nearly 3 cm in body length. It has a dark brown or grey-brown back, with darker patches and a pale, longitudinal stripe along the middle. The belly is cream-coloured, and the male has a brown throat. Toes are half-webbed, and fingers and toes have no discs. Other information is missing from the description as the species is only known from three individuals.
Eggs, tadpoles, and development time are unknown. Possibly breeds during summer in the wet season.

Found at Alexandria Station and near the Arnold River, in the NT. It is known only from three individuals and has not been seen since 1977.
